Maintaining up-to-date fleet

Mann Plant Hire has used JCB Finance since the launch of the company almost 40 years ago, starting with just on JCB 3C MK2. Richard and Jane Mann launched the business in Falmouth, Cornwall, in 1977. Since then, it has grown significantly and in 2004 their son joined the family business to help launch the training arm of the company, Lamanva Training Centre. The centre offers a high standard of plant training, testing and NVQs for the construction industry.

JCB Finance has done us proud for 40 years - from starting out with just one digger to refocusing the business on training, it's always provided a reliable and great service. They know us and understand the needs of the business very well, which means they're able to offer the support, advice and service we need.

The Challenge...

With the focus now on training, machinery demands have changed. A high importance is placed on using up-to-date machinery and at least two machines are replaced every year to ensure trainees are using the best equipment.

Throughout the history of the business we have considered alternative funding solutions, but have never found anything that can match JCB Finance's services in terms of convenience and competitive rates.
