Cheshire based event hire company, Event Equipment Limited has been a customer of JCB Finance since 2019, investing in JCB Generators and a forklift to help grow their business. Company Director Richard Warriner explains why they decided to invest in their own equipment and how doing it with the help of JCB Finance was like a breath of fresh air. The business has evolved over the years. It started off predominantly as furniture hire, lighting and staging. We then diversified and have grown into more the lighting and staging side and into power generation. We found we used to sub-hire generators but due to prices and service, we decided it was better at that point to bring it in house. Take the plunge and buy some generators which has paid off.

The events and hospitality sector was hit hard in 2020 by the pandemic. Two weeks before national lockdowns were imposed, Event Equipment Limited took delivery of several generators.
